Who we are
A practice built by physicians who stayed independent.
Pontine is a group of talented, professional, and personable anesthesiologists who enjoy what we do. We trained at premier academic institutions and have practiced exclusively in outpatient settings since 2012 — never owned by a hospital system, a staffing company, or private equity.
That independence is not a footnote; it is the business model. It means our only customers are the surgery centers we serve and the patients on their tables. We keep current with the most advanced techniques from leading academic centers, maintain board certification through ABA's continuing MOCA program, and bring an enthusiasm that reinvigorates seasoned centers and helps new ones establish their reputation.
Our mission: help our ambulatory surgery center partners achieve excellence in performance, deliver the foremost care to their patients, and produce the highest value for their stakeholders.
